When tuition academies win. Accountability and peer pressure are real. A student who shows up four times a week to an academy will study more than one who downloads an app. Some academies have genuinely strong teachers whose explanations beat any text-based revision.

When YouTube wins. Explanation. A great chemistry teacher on YouTube can teach a topic in 12 minutes that takes 3 hours of reading. Pakistan has world-class educators on YouTube — Sabaq Foundation, Kips, individual teachers — and many lectures are genuinely excellent.
When ImtehanHub wins. Practice volume. YouTube teaches; ImtehanHub tests. After watching a lecture, students need to verify they understood — that's MCQs, short answers, long answers with textbook references. YouTube has no streak, no leaderboard, no per-topic weakness report, no bilingual toggle, no offline mode.
Best together. Watch the YouTube lecture for the concept. Take 5 ImtehanHub questions on that chapter for verification. Bookmark the ones you got wrong. Re-test the bookmarks the next day. This loop is hard to beat.
What ImtehanHub deliberately does NOT do
Honest framing matters. ImtehanHub is not:
- Not a tutor. No live chat, no AI tutor that explains every wrong answer (AI explanations are available in Review Mode but they're a BYOK supplement, not a flagship feature). Buy a tutor if you need a tutor.
- Not a full LMS / school management system. No attendance, no fees, no parent-teacher communication, no homework assignments. Use a school's existing tools for that.
- Not a video-lecture platform. No filmed lessons, no live classes. We point students at YouTube channels and textbooks; we don't host the lectures.
- Not the largest question bank in Pakistan. Several competitors claim larger numbers. We focus on textbook-keyed quality over volume.
- Not yet on iOS. Android only, today. iOS is feature-ready but Apple Developer Account approval is pending.

Is ImtehanHub the cheapest option?
Past-paper booklets are cheaper on a per-month basis (one PKR 100 booklet covers one subject for ~1 month). ImtehanHub Free is free forever but limited to 3 tests/day. For unlimited tests, ImtehanHub Pro at PKR 299/mo is among the lowest-priced paid apps in the Pakistani market.
Will ImtehanHub work without internet?
The Android app caches chapters and lets you take tests offline. Submissions queue locally and replay when you reconnect. The web version has partial offline support via service workers. See Offline mode.
Can ImtehanHub replace tuition academies?
For accountability and in-person help, no — academies have an irreducible value. For practice volume, self-quizzing, and structured revision, yes. Most students benefit from using both.
Is ImtehanHub better than past-paper booklets?
For interactive practice — yes. For paper-only exam simulation — no. The two serve different study phases. Buy the booklet, install the app, use each for what it's best at.
